VISA Information

1. Before applying for a Chinese visa, please check the Mutual Visa Exemption list via:

2. Basic documents to prepare before submitting your visa application:

  • Passport
  • Original passport valid for at least six months, with blank visa pages, along with a photocopy of the passport's data page and the photo page (if separate).

  • Visa Application Form and Photo
  • A completed Visa Application Form, with a recently taken color passport photo (bare-headed, full face) against a light background attached.

  • Proof of Legal Stay or Residence Status (for applicants not applying in their country of citizenship)
  • If you are applying for a visa outside your country of citizenship, you must provide the original and a photocopy of your valid residence, employment, student, or stay visa, or any other official document certifying your legal stay in the country where you are currently residing.

  • Photocopy of Previous Chinese Passports or Chinese Visas (for foreign citizens who were previously Chinese citizens)
  • - If you are applying for a Chinese visa for the first time, you must provide your previous Chinese passport and a photocopy of its data page.
    - If you have obtained Chinese visas before and are now applying with a new foreign passport that does not contain any Chinese visa, you must submit a photocopy of the data page (and photo page, if separate) of your previous passport, as well as the page containing the previous Chinese visa.
    - (Note: If the name on your current passport differs from that on the previous one, official documentation of the name change is required.)
